摘要 PURPOSE: An energy saving type screw air compressor using an intake air controlling device is provided to improve the operation efficiency of the screw air compressor, to extend the lifetime, and to save costs for power. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving type screw air compressor using an intake air controlling device comprises an intake control valve, an airflow guide(19), a plurality of balance relief pistons(20), a bellow(14), an intake valve(15), and a float check valve(18). The intake control valve converts the pressure of the system generated in a no-load state into an atmosphere pressure state, forms a vacuum state by completely blocking air from an air intake port, and is formed into one body with an air filter for minimizing the load of a motor. The intake control valve is composed of an upper chamber housing unit(13), a cover(30) integrally assembled with a lower chamber housing unit(31), and a body(21). The airflow guide minimizes resistance caused by an air flow, thereby improving the intake efficiency of an inlet of the screw air compressor. The balance relief pistons are alternately operated for preventing damage caused by changes in an inner bearing state and a backlash caused by a rapid load change of the motor and the air compressor when instantaneously blocking the valve. The intake valve moves upwardly in a loading state so that the air flows into the screw air compressor. The intake valve moves downwardly in the no-load state, thereby blocking air intake to the inside of the screw air compressor. The float check valve prevents the air containing oil from flowing backwardly and being emitted to the atmosphere.
