Method and device for transmitting signals wirelessly

The method involves categorizing multiple signals to transmit as safety-relevant control signals and non-critical communication signals. The safety-relevant control signals are checked for error-free transmission, and the non-critical communication signals are transmitted without error safety checking. The safety relevant control signals include signals that influence a positioning movement and radiation parameters of a safety critical device. The safety-relevant control signals are encoded in a mobile operator unit (2) and decoded in a base unit (4). An independent claim is also included for a system for wireless transmission of signals.
