The invention is a vehicle safe stopping distance warning system that automatically evaluates and determines the relative braking distance between two moving vehicles. The system has a means of displaying a warning to the secondary vehicle via a display if it is travelling too close to the primary vehicle. The system may preferably have the ability to register vehicle details such as number plates, speed details, safe stopping distances and actual stopping distances and then display these for the secondary vehicle. The system may also be able to evaluate weather and light conditions and then determine safe braking distances. |
