A method for clonal micropropagation of cohlrabi cabbage comprises using a modified Murashige-Skoog medium for propagating and rooting, cultivating at a 16-hour photoperiod at a temperature of 24± with a lighting intensity of 3000-4000 lx, a relative moisture content of 65-70 %. The seeds, which are sterilized by a 35 % solution of "Bilyzna" (Whiteness), a bleaching agent, at an exposure of 45 min. are used for sterilizing as an explant. Benzylaminopurine (BAP), 0.2-0.6 mg/l, and 30 g/l sucrose are added to the Murashige-Skoog medium with a complete kit of macronutrients for propagating. Indoleacetic acid (IAA), 0.2 mg/l, and naphthylacetic acid (NAA), 0.3 mg/l, and 30.0 g/l sucrose are added into the Murashige-Skoog medium with a complete kit of macronutrients for rooting. |
