PURPOSE: A reinforcing guardrail having a guard beam and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce construction time by additionally installing new structures in an existing structure. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing guardrail having a guard beam comprises existing posts(10), reinforcing posts(20), W-rails, a guard beam, and height adjusting members. The reinforcing posts are installed between the existing posts to be higher than the existing posts. The W-rails are coupled to the existing and reinforcing posts through fastening bolts and securely support the guard beam. The guard beam is coupled to the height adjusting members and the reinforcing posts. The height adjusting members are installed on the top of the existing posts. |
