<p>This application discloses an instrument cluster for a motor vehicle, and a motor vehicle. The instrument cluster comprises a display member (5) having a display field (20) and an indication member (21) which is arranged to move over the display field. An illumination device is configured to provide a background lightning of the display member. The illumination device is arranged to permit illumination of merely a part area (3) of the display field, within which part area the indication member is located, and to permit a displacement of this part area over the display field. Furthermore, the illumination device is arranged to control this displacement depending on the movement of the indication member.</p> |
