PURPOSE: A channel scan handover method using broadcasting station name information of a network information table in digital broadcasting mobile reception of a self regional management method capable of accurately determining whether there is an identical broadcasting of TS(Transport Stream) data received from a neighboring base station is provided to solve a problem that a current broadcast is stopped and a totally different broadcast is received while performing handover of digital broadcasting mobile reception. CONSTITUTION: A digital broadcasting receiver extracts a program association table from broadcast TS data(S120). The digital broadcasting receiver reads a network information table from the broadcast TS data with reference to the program association table(S130). The digital broadcasting receiver obtains a text including a broadcasting station name from the network information table(S140). The digital broadcasting receiver recognizes the broadcasting station name from the text(S150). If the broadcasting station name is identical with a predetermined broadcasting station name, the digital broadcasting receiver recognizes the broadcast TS data including the broadcasting station name as a corresponding broadcast and receives the broadcast TS data(S160).
