A method for cultivating mushrooms using an irrigating, draining, and water-retaining unit is provided to promoting respiration of mushroom roots by supplying inorganic nutrition to a culture medium. A method for cultivating mushrooms using an irrigating, draining, and water-retaining unit comprises the following steps of: installing a water supplying unit(3) and draining unit(4) in a box(a); filling the box with basalt, hydro ball(loess ball), and gravel(5) up to a predetermined height to obtain a culture medium box having an irrigating, draining, water-retaining unit(b); and installing the predetermined number of culture medium boxes in a multistage culture bed shelf or an A shaped culture bed shelf(c). |
