PURPOSE: A lightning surge detector, a surge protective device, and a management system for the surge protective device are provided to miniaturize the shape of a lightning surge detector by arranging a detection coil near a connection bar, thereby reducing the number of components constructing the detector and providing a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal part(3), which is made of a metal plate with an approximately U-shaped cross section and in the shape of a two-point contact, is installed at a side of a case(2). The first terminal part is composed of two protruding pieces(3a,3c) facing each other, and a connection piece(3b) connecting the two protruding pieces. The connection piece is fixed in the case, and the two protruding pieces protrude outwards from the case. An insertion hole(3a1) for the insertion of a screw is formed at the front end of one protruding piece(3a). The first terminal part and a second terminal part(4) are connected by a metal connection bar(5) which is horizontally arranged for conduction. A printed wiring board(6) for the mounting of electronic circuit components and the like for forming a control unit to be fixed near the connection bar. A detection coil(7) is arranged near the connection bar by being connected to the printed wiring board and detects lightning surge currents flowing in the connection bar. A waveform processing part(10) generates a detection voltage by converting an induced current into a voltage and outputs a modified waveform voltage through the delayed processing of the voltage waveform of the detection voltage with respect to the time axis. An operation control part(20) inputs the modified waveform voltage, calculates the current value of a lightning surge current from the voltage value of the modified waveform voltage, and obtains the calculation result of the lightning surge current. |
