PURPOSE: A torque converter of a vehicle is provided to offer operational stability by preventing the spring seat of a torsional damper from being separated at the operating segment. CONSTITUTION: A retaining plate is combined with a piston. Compression coil springs are arranged at the retaining plate. Elastic force is generated at the compression coil spring in a circumferential direction. Spring seats are arranged on both ends of the compression coil springs. The spring seats supports the compression coil springs. A driven plate combines with a turbine. The spring seat comprises a body part(25) and an insertion part(27). The insertion part is inserted into the compression coil springs. The body part comprises a first surface part(25a). The body part comprises a second surface part(25b).
