ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Artificial leather and a method for fabricating the same are provided to ensure excellent mechanical strength and an aesthetic effect and to manufacture a high quality product such as horse riding apparel. CONSTITUTION: Artificial leather(100) contains a non-woven fabric and an elastic polymer. The non-woven fabric contains a microfiber of 0.001-0.3 deniers. The elastic polymer is immersed in the non-woven fabric. The apparent density of the non-woven fabric is 0.3 g/cm^3 or greater. The elastic polymer is polyurethane.
