A data transmission/reception method and system in a communication system are provided to guarantee the performance of a system continuously although the number of users exists in a communication system. A receiver(250) divides vector codes of a pre-set matrix code book into groups, measures a data stream state of a transmitter(200), checks a group to which a vector code corresponding to a measurement result belongs, and transmits feedback information by the checked group to the transmitter(200). The transmitter(200) transmits data to the receiver(250) through a data stream corresponding to the feedback information received from the receiver(250). The receiver(250) groups the vector codes of the matrix code book according to correlation of the vector codes. The vector codes of the matrix code book are divided into groups corresponding to the number of service streams. |
