PURPOSE: A slag skimmer is provided to improve slag removing efficiency by rotating a connection arm according to an irregular inlet shape of a ladle by preparing the connection arm to a vertical and a horizontal directions in a fixed range. CONSTITUTION: A slag skimmer discharges slag by transferring a small plate on the top of hot metal. The slag skimmer includes a main body(10), a horizontal rotary part(30), and a vertical rotary part(40). The main body includes a first connection arm(20). The horizontal rotary part is comprised of a bearing housing, a spherical bearing, and a horizontal rotating shaft. The bearing housing is equipped on an end of the first connection arm. The spherical bearing is built in the bearing housing. The horizontal rotating shaft is inserted into a ball of the spherical bearing. The horizontal rotating shaft is rotated with the ball. The vertical rotary part is comprised of a first connection plate and a second connection plate. |
