PURPOSE: An error correcting method, an error correcting device, and an error correcting system for an inertial navigation system are provided to reduce map errors occurred by an uncertain mapping, thereby improving the accuracy of the inertia navigation system . CONSTITUTION: An error correcting device(1302) for an inertia navigation system(1301) comprises an operation state detecting module and a state resetting module. The operation state detecting module determines an operation state of the inertial navigation system based on a current position confirming parameter, a navigation map-based position confirming parameter, and a GPS-based reference position confirming parameter. When an abnormal operation state of the inertial navigation system is determined, the state resetting module substitutes the GPS-based reference position confirming parameter with an initial parameter of the inertial navigation system in order to correct errors and resets the inertial navigation system at an initial state.
