PURPOSE: A motor and disk driving apparatus are provided to provide a slim motor by reducing the axial direction length of a sealing gap in the motor. CONSTITUTION: A housing(14) includes a first housing component(141) in the shape of a cup and a second housing component(142) in the shape of a plate. A disk(11), a motor(12), and an access part(13) are accommodated at the inside of the first housing component. The housing is formed by inserting the second housing component into the first housing component. The disk is clamped to the motor by a clamper(151). The access part includes a head(131), an arm(132), and a head moving device(133). The head approaches the disk and magnetically performs at least one of reading or recording information. The arm supports the head. The head moving device relatively moves the head with respect to the disk by moving the arm. Two heads are respectively arranged the top and bottom of the disk. |
