PURPOSE: An optical polyester film is provided to have a proper adhesive force for being used as a hard coating film, improve a rainbow phenomenon, and satisfy an excellent optical matter property by having a total light transmittance higher than 91% and a haze lower than 1% in case the polyester film includes more hard coating layers. CONSTITUTION: An optical polyester film includes a polyester substrate film(10) and a primer coating layer(20) in which a coating composition of total refractive index 1.56 ~ 1.6 including an inorganic particle of refractive index 1.8 ~ 2.2 and a polyester resin of refractive index 1.4 ~ 1.6 is coated in one or both sides. The drying coating thickness of the primer coating layer is 50 ~ 150nm. The average diameter of the inorganic particle is 1 ~ 50nm. The inorganic particle is a surface-modified zirconia. An acyl croup and an alkylate group are included in the surface of the surface-modified zirconia, and Na^+ is used as a counter ion.
