A backlight assembly and an LCD with the same are provided to contact a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), on which a plurality of LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes) are mounted, with an inside surface of a bottom case to improve the efficiency in emission of heat. A backlight assembly comprises a bottom case(190), a PCB(151) contacted with an inside surface of the bottom case, and a plurality of LEDs mounted on the PCB. An adhesive pad is disposed between the bottom case and the PCB to fix the bottom case and the PCB. An LCD comprises the PCB, the plurality of LEDs, and an LCD panel(110), wherein the LCD panel displays a predetermined image by using the lights emitted from the LEDs. |
