FILTER PLUG WRAP, CIGARETTE FILTER WITH THE FILTER PLUG WRAP AND METHOD TO MANUFACTURE THE FILTER PLUG WRAP

PURPOSE: A filter wrapping paper, a cigarette filter covered with the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the hardness of a filter, thereby reducing the distortion of the filter before and after smoking. CONSTITUTION: A filter wrapping paper(114) covering a cigarette filter is made of BKP(Bleached Kraft Pulp). For increasing Young's modulus which is one factor of determining stiffness, paper comprises LBKP(Laubholz Bleached Kraft Pulp) in the ratio of 0.25 to 0.75 and NBKP(Nadelholz Bleached Kraft Pulp) in the ratio of remnants. For increasing thickness which is another factor of determining stiffness, the basis weight of the paper is 50 to 150 g/m^2. The LBKP and the NBKP are respectively dissociated in the ratio of 0.25 to 0.75 and in the ratio of the remnant, and are beaten at the freeness of 25 to 40 deg. SR.
