PURPOSE: A printed circuit board is provided to improve a signal transmission characteristic by forming a slot in a part of a ground surface facing a pad. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric substrate(110) includes a ground surface. A pad(132,134) is formed in the dielectric substrate. A transmission line(136) transmits a signal to the pad. A slot(142) is formed on a part of the ground surface which faces the pad. The area of the slot is larger than the area of the pad.
