PURPOSE: A headliner for a vehicle is provided to maximize sound absorbing performance in case of the conventional driving condition by maintaining permeability and to maximize sound reduction performance by removing the permeability in case outside noise is getting louder. CONSTITUTION: A textile and a foam are laminated to a headliner for a vehicle. A permeable film(3) is laminated between the textile and the form. An air tube of a mesh type is laminated to be adjacent to the permeable film. The air tube of a mesh type connects with an air outlet and an air inlet. When the sound absorbing performance is required, the state of opening an air hole(31) of the permeable film by deflating the air from the air tube of a mesh type is maintained. When the sound reduction performance is required, the air hole of the permeable film is closed by injecting the air to the air tube of a mesh type.
