PURPOSE: A medium for mushroom cultivation is provided to improve growth of the mushroom by providing a large amount of oxygen from the medium to mushroom as the medium includes Gaia stone containing a large amount of oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A medium for mushroom cultivation comprises sawdust or rice straw(121); granules of Gaia stone(122) that are mixed to the sawdust or rice straw in a manner to supply a large amount of oxygen during growth of mushroom; and rice bran(123) and rice powder(124) that are mixed for acceleration of fermentation of mushroom, and the medium is formed in a shape of a polygonal pillar including a circular pillar to enable mushroom growth in many directions. The medium for mushroom cultivation comprises 60 to 75 wt% of the sawdust or rice straw, 16 to 22 wt% of the Gaia stone, and 3 to 5 wt% of each of the rice bran and rice powder.
