PURPOSE: A system and method for the charging of an electric vehicle battery with non contact electromagnetic inductive charging in a parking lot are provided to determine a charge power mode by sensing the whole length of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A commercial power supply unit supplies power to a common power supply. A parking lot charge unit comprises a feed line of a plurality of charge power line modes. A controller is connected to a vehicle interface unit. The controller confirms the entry and size of a vehicle. The controller decides the charge power line mode corresponding to an approaching car. The charge power line mode determination unit comprises a power feed inverter and a switch. The charge power line mode determination unit switches the supply of commercial power. |
