PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the shape of a slab is provided to reduce production costs by reducing the amount of crops based on the measured amount of dog bones and to predict the status of a width rolling process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the shape of a slab comprises a width rolling part(10), a transfer roller part(20), and a measuring unit. The width roller part laterally rolls materials. One side of the measuring unit comes into contact with the materials transferred by the transfer roller part, and the other side thereof is rotationally installed in an outlet of the width rolling part. The measuring unit measures the shape of materials based on the rotational angle of the other side thereof which is changed according to the thickness of the materials.
