SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURITY OF SCADA COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A security system and a method of a SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) communication network are provided to safely distribute encryption keys without the application of an additional protocol. CONSTITUTION: An MTU(Medium Terminal Unit)(100) performs a role of a terminal of a central end point as each regional RCC(Regional Control Center). An RTU(Remote Terminal Unit)(200) is a lower node of the MTU. A master security device(110), a slave security device(210) and a security key management device(400) encrypt or decrypt a DNP(Distribute Network Protocol) message transmitted through the SCADA communication network(300) between the MTU and the RTU. The MTU provides a certification, an integrity test, a confidentiality maintenance, and a retransmission preventing function of the DNP message. [Reference numerals] (300) SCADA communication network;
