PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve the aperture ratio of a pixel by forming a vertical common line to a gate line. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second common line(106a,106b) are parallel to a data line(103). The first and the second common line cross a gate line(101). First to fourth shield bars(130a,130b,140a,140b) are arranged in a part of the pixel region where light leakage is generated. The shield bars block the light leakage between a first and a second pixel electrode(109a,109b), and the gate line and a thin film transistor. |
