PURPOSE: A core protein network extraction method and a device are provided to effectively plan research designs for a relationship between protein and a disease by providing a protein network related to core diseases. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting unit(12010) receives data for protein interaction. A data analysis unit(12020) detects protein interaction data related to a specific disease from the data. A basic network generating unit(12040) generates a first protein network based on protein interaction related relationship information included in the protein interaction data. A core network generating unit(12050) generates a second protein network of a tree structure comprising root protein nodes and calculates protein nodes included in a second protein network.
