PURPOSE: A structure for a floor plate of a double bottom in a large ore carrier ship is provided to improve assemblability by removing intermediate floor plates. CONSTITUTION: A structure(103) for a floor plate of a double bottom in a large ore carrier ship comprises a cargo tank section and ballast tank sections(102). One or more regular floor plates(105) are horizontally arranged at the bottom. In order to reinforce the rigidity of weak parts(107) where webs(104) are contacted to each other, inserts(108) are welded throughout the regular floor plates and the webs.
