PURPOSE: A UI(User Interface) providing method based on a rotation gesture and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform GUI(Graphic User Interface) interaction according to a rotation angle caused by the rotation gesture, thereby rapidly and conveniently inputting a user-instruction. CONSTITUTION: A straight line, formed by two of points designated by a user, is recognized. A rotation angle of the straight line is calculated. The number of executable GUI interactions is figured out. A rotatable range is divided into the number of the GUI interactions and the GUI interactions are allocated to divided sections(S130). The divided section corresponding to the rotation angle is found(S140). The GUI interaction allocated to the found section is operated(S150). |
