PURPOSE: Sanitary equipment for preventing the generation of water scale is provided to facilitate to remove water scale and to reduce the generation of the water scale by controlling the polymerization of silicic acid. CONSTITUTION: Sanitary equipment(1) for preventing the generation of water scale comprises a water supply unit, a silicate polymerization inhibitor adding unit, an acid water forming device(3), a metal ion adding device(4), a controlling device(5), and a coating device(6). The water supply unit and silicate polymerization inhibitor adding unit adds silicate polymerization inhibitor into water which adheres the surface of sanitary equipment as residual water. An acid water forming device adjusts the acidity of service water for controlling to inhibit the polymerization of silicic acid when the service water becomes the residual water. The metal ion adding device adds metal ion to the water which is adjusted in the acidity. The controlling device controls a series of operation and the adjustment of the acidity. The coating device applies the service water on the surface of the sanitary equipment.
