PURPOSE: A display device is provided to omit an outer case by attaching a panel driving part to the lower surface of an upper substrate. CONSTITUTION: A sidewall(314) touches the lower surface of an upper substrate(110) as an upper substrate is longer than a lower substrate(120) in the peripheral area of a display panel(100) which includes a pad area. The sidewall touches the lower surface of an upper substrate as the end parts of the upper and the lower substrates match the peripheral area of the display panel which excludes the pad area.
