PURPOSE: A polyester polymerization apparatus is provided to effectively discharge water generated inside of a reactor of an esterification reaction apparatus, to reflux a discharged raw material to the reactor, to collect by effectively removing a reaction by-product in a reactor of a condensation polymerization reaction apparatus and to reduce damage and failure of a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A polyester polymerization apparatus(100) includes an esterification reaction apparatus and a condensation polymerization reaction apparatus(102). The esterification reaction apparatus generates an oligomer by esterificating a reaction raw material in an esterification reactor. The condensation polymerization reaction apparatus generates polyester by performing condensation polymerization reaction to the reactant of the esterification. A vacuum trap device(153) is installed in a vacuum line serially connected to a vacuum pump for applying vacuum pressure to the inside of the condensation polymerization reactor of the condensation polymerization reaction apparatus. The vacuum trap device removes a non-reactant and a reactant moving to the vacuum pump side along the vacuum line(151) when operating the vacuum pump.
