PURPOSE: A fuel injection pump for improving a lubricating property is provided to minimize damage to an oil film because lubricating oil is received in oil receiving grooves during the elevation of a plunger in a barrel. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection pump for improving a lubricating property has oil receiving grooves(11) on the interior of a barrel(10). The cross section of the oil receiving grooves is a semi-circle, a rectangle, or a triangle.
