A sebum secretion inhibiting cosmetic composition is provided to be effective for inhibiting the sebum excessively secreted from skin by inhibiting the activity of 5alpha-reductase which is an enzyme for catalyzing the formation of dehydrotestosterone known to be inducing the sebum secretion. A cosmetic composition for inhibiting sebum secretion comprises an extract of Crataegus pinnatifida(hawthorn), an extract of Parthenocissus tricuspidata(Ivy) and an extract of Syzygium aromaticum(clove), where the total content of extracts regarding the weight of the composition is 0.001-10 wt.%. |
