PURPOSE: A rotary machine is provided to enable a designer to simply design a layout by providing an access method related to a conceptual access method. CONSTITUTION: A user selects components for a rotary machine, and the selected components are arranged(204). A layout of rotary machine assembly is generated in a GUI(Graphic User Interface) of a computer system according to a step of generating a relationship between the selected components. A function model of the rotary machine assembly is formed from the layout based on the opponent location of the selected components and the characteristics of the selected components(208). The performance of the rotary machine assembly is predicted in the GUI. Data is linked to an integrated UI(User Interface) or is exported to a CAD(Computer Aided Design) or CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) package(216). |
