PURPOSE: A portable terminal and an intelligent information searching method thereof are provided to intellectually manage schedule information, SNS(Social Network Service) information, and text messages by extracting keywords based on meanings of stored data. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) displays a searching result on a display unit(151) by extracting a keyword of data stored in a storage unit(160). The control unit selectively stores the searching result in the storage unit according to the selection of a user. The data is schedule information, SNS information, text messages, and voice information. The control unit stores the searching result as the schedule information, the SNS information, or the text message according to the selection of the user.
