A weld tip separation device for a spot welding gun is provided to simplify the structure by separating a weld tip from an upper gun body and a lower gun body without the separate power source. A weld tip separation device for a spot welding gun comprises a weld tip separation device(100) for a spot welding gun; a case(10) whose top end part and bottom part are opened; a upper tip drop member(20) having a first support groove(23), separating an upper tip from an upper gun body; a lower tip drop member(30) having a second support groove(33), separating a lower tip from a lower part gun body; a first bias member(40) elastically supported in the lower tip drop member with a first spring(45); a second bias member(50) elastically supported in the upper tip drop member with a second spring(55); a first pinion member(71) installed at a first rotation center axis; a third rack bar(81) and a fourth rack bar(83) installed to correspond to the second bias member; and a second pinion member(90) having a second rotation center axis(91). |
