PURPOSE: A work roll inspecting device is provided to evaluate the abrasion resistance of a work roll and analyze the surface state of the work roll. CONSTITUTION: A work roll inspecting device comprises a rotating member(10), a hydraulic member(20), a load applying member(30), and a controller(40). The rotating member includes a first motor(11), a second motor(12), a first shaft(13), and a second shaft(14). The hydraulic member is connected to the first shaft, thereby moving the first shaft vertically. The load applying member includes; a weight(31) applying a load by being connected to the first shaft; and a load cell(33) measuring the load applied to the first shaft.
