PURPOSE: A voltage equalization circuit of an electric energy storage device is provided to equalize voltage between electric energy storage cells by transferring electric energy between the electric energy storage cells. CONSTITUTION: A serial string of electric energy storage cells comprises a plurality of electric energy storage cells. A voltage equalization cell string comprises a plurality of voltage equalization cells. A first switching unit connects the electric energy storage cells and the voltage equalization cells in parallel. A second switching unit connects the serial string of electric energy storage cells and the voltage equalization cell string in parallel. A third switching unit connects the voltage equalization cells in parallel. A controller controls the first to third switching units. |
