PURPOSE: A multipurpose amphibious vehicle is provided to perform a polar expedition or travel between islands and drive in a wetland and a bog with a track including a low contact pressure. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose amphibious vehicle(100) comprises a bow unit(10), a planning track(20), a driving track(30), a nose down preventing buoyancy fender unit(40), a rear float deck unit(60), a GPS system antenna(70), and a transmitting and receiving antenna(80). The bow unit is formed in order to strive through a current in low speed driving at less than the critical speed under water. The planning track comprises a planning belt(24) including three idling tires(21,22,23) and performing steering, braking, and a flattening of a tidal wave. The driving track comprises two idling tires(31,32), two guide tires(33,34), and a driving belt(35) and drives by rolling friction with the water surface. The nose down preventing buoyancy fender unit prevents inclining due to waves surging into a front upper part. The rear float deck unit supports the buoyancy plate deployed as two hydraulic cylinders and induces the center of pressure to the behind of the center of gravity. The GPS system antenna and the transmitting and receiving antenna are included on an upper part of a vehicle and include an electronic communication device to check the position. |
