PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an alumina mold is provided to manufacture an alumina mold with a high purity and a high density by compressing and sintering high purity alumina powder without using a separate organic binder. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an alumina mold comprises the following steps: (i) a step of preparing alumina powder with high purity over 99.998%; (ii) a step of forming a first molding product by molding and compressing the alumina powder; and (iii) a step of plasticizing the first molding product. The step of preparing powder comprises the following processes: (a) a step of preparing a mother liquid; (b) a step of removing an activated impurity; and (c) a step of obtaining alumina powder from the refined mother liquid. The step of preparing the mother liquid comprises the following process: (a1) aluminium hydroxide or aluminum is dissolved in sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, or organic acid, and the impurity is activated. The weight ratio of aluminum oxide to sulfuric acid of the mother liquid is 0.5-1.0.
