AN ACCELERATED COOLING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An acceleration cooling apparatus having a side guide roller is provided to maintain the original shape of a shape steel after the completion of rolling, thereby uniformly cooling the shape steel. CONSTITUTION: An acceleration cooling apparatus having a side guide roller comprises a guide unit(100), a cooling unit and a movement guide unit. The guide unit is composed of a constant width and forms a transfer path(a) on which shape steel is transferred. The cooling unit sprays cooling water on the shape steel(10) following the transfer path through both side parts of the guide unit. The movement guide unit is installed inside the guide unit and guides both sides of the shape steel following the transfer path to be moved.
