<p>The device has a support (1) on which carrying elements (5) are mounted, where each element carries a suction cup (4). The cups are moved between a gripping position in which the cups seize a blank and a carrying position in which the cups hold the blank. Each element has determining units determining distance of axial movement of the element toward the carrying position, where the distance is increased successively from a side to an opposite side of the support such that the blank is raised by the cups successively from a side to an opposite side of the support. The determining units are provided with an abutment element (7) and a set-ring (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for gripping a blank.</p> |
