The device has a printed circuit board (PCB) (1) including an electronic component (9) to process transmission or reception of radioelectric signals, and an antenna (2) for transmitting or receiving the signals, where the PCB and the antenna are placed in an insulative housing (3). An electrically conducting strip (4) attached to the housing extends over a part of the periphery of the housing so as to form an open loop for transmitting or receiving the signals. The strip is electrically disconnected from the antenna, so as to communicate with the antenna by electromagnetic coupling.
