PURPOSE: An apparatus of preventing food decay and a anti-decay method are provided to re-supply nitrogen to vinyl storage pack by separating nitrogen and oxygen among gas ejected from vinyl storage pack and heat seal the opening part of vinyl storage pack. CONSTITUTION: A food decay preventing apparatus comprises a storage pack(103) accommodating food; a vacuum pump(140) enabling vacuum by ejecting gas within the storage pack; a gas separate module(150) which separagtes nitrogen from ejected gas; and a heat-seal module(110) which seals an opening of storage pack. A food decay preventing apparatus also comprises a flow path change valve(130) arranged between storage pack, vacuum pump, and gas separate module. A flow path change valve selectively control the gas flow from storage pack to vacuum pump or nitrogen flow from a gas separate module to storage pack. A food decay preventing apparatus further comprises a vacuum valve(120) connected to a storage pack. A vacuum valve maintains sealing in case of exhaustion of gas or injection of nitrogen through fluid path guarantee member(122) directly combined to a storage pack.
