The center has a high pressure pump (4) i.e. piston pump, supplying hydraulic fluid i.e. oil, to a hydraulic power steering circuit. A high pressure oil reservoir (2) is inserted in the power steering circuit. A pressure transferring device (20) transfers pressure between the hydraulic fluid of the high pressure oil reservoir and fuel i.e. petrol, of a fuel injection circuit. An electronic module (10) controls the pressure of the fuel or the hydraulic fluid by controlling the pump or by controlling solenoid valves (6, 13).
