The present invention relates to a technology for directly inputting figures on electronic documents, and more particularly, to a technology for directly inputting figures on electronic documents in which a rough figure which is roughly inputted using direct input means (e.g., handwriting, mouse, digitizer) is automatically converted into a regular figure object by considering preset figure templates, thereby improving figure usage and quality in electronic documents.
