A cellular sheet having a large number of cells dispersedly formed therein is disposed on the indoor side of a windowpane to heighten the heat-insulating properties, and a coating film is formed on a surface of the cellular sheet to impart heat-shielding ability thereto, the coating film being selected so as to have the following properties: the coating film has a visible-light transmittance of 80% or higher and a visible-light reflectance of 10% or lower and has a reflectance of infrared light having wavelengths of 1,400 nm and longer of 50% or higher; and the reflectance increases from 10% or lower to 50% or higher as the wavelength increases from 780 nm toward 1,400 nm. A coating film having such properties can be formed from a heat-shielding coating material for glass. The heat-insulating properties of the cellular sheet and the heat-shielding properties of the coating film in combination reduce the quantity of heat that passes through the windowpane.
|
