<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle, in which excessive wear of a synchronizing mechanism provided in a transmission can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device for a vehicle, in which the transmission 10 provided with the synchronizing mechanisms 21, 22 for using frictional force during speed change to synchronize a shaft and a gear is provided in a power transmission path between an internal combustion engine 2 and a drive wheel 4, includes a motor generator 3 and a second clutch 32 for selectively connecting the motor generator 3 with an input shaft 11 or an output shaft 12 of the transmission 10, diagnoses whether or not the synchronizing mechanisms 21, 22 are worn, and if it is diagnosed that the synchronizing mechanisms 21, 22 are worn, the second clutch 32 controls so that the motor generator 3 is connected to the input shaft 11, and the motor generator 3 is used when the speed is changed by the transmission 10 to synchronize the input shaft 11 and a drive gear used after speed change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
