<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a high-strength wedge wire screen to a pressing element of a screw press to allow compression and dehydration (deoiling). <P>SOLUTION: Annular or non-annular screen forming members 48a-48d having a wedge cross-sectional portion 47 on an inner peripheral part with which raw material makes contact and annular inclusion members 49a-49d are alternately laminated, and a gap 50 is provided between the adjacent screen forming members 48a-48d.
