<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spun yarn which is suitably used for obtaining a woven and knitted fabric that is superior in hygroscopic properties and simultaneously is hardly discolored after a repetition of industrial washing, and to provide the woven and knitted fabric suitable for various uniform clothing. <P>SOLUTION: The two-layered structure spun yarn comprises a cellulosic staple fiber arranged at a core part and a polyester staple fiber arranged at a sheath part. A mass ratio (core part/sheath part) of the core part to the sheath part is 0.4-1.5, and thickness of the spun yarn is 5-50S (English cotton count).
